it's kind of crazy how dragon's dogma, as a franchise, is allowed to do themes to the extent it does. everything I'm hearing about dark arisen 2 is confirming that it's written as a follow-up to dark arisen rather than trying to understand it as The Second Half of Dragon's Dogma 1, which is great

I loved Look Outside! I just didn't love playing it. Loads and loads of traps, roll of the dice deaths, general pacing issues, etc. I'll probably give it another go one of these days, though. If you want another game like it, I recently bought NO-SKIN...
