AEW teases Trios 'Texas Death' match for Full Gear

entertainmentOct 21, 202659421

All Elite Wrestling teased the possibility of a Trios "Texas Death" match for the AEW World Trios Championship at Full Gear, with recent backstage angles and on‑air beats prompting fans to speculate about participants and rules. Social posts named Swerve and "Hangman" Adam Page in the same storyline, with several fans suggesting Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods or Kofi and Austin Creed as possible challengers or participants. Viewers asked practical questions about how a Trios Texas Death match would be officiated, for example whether all three members must be down for a 10-count, and some said they would travel to see the match if booked. Other posts celebrated the idea and referenced recent trios title changes and backstage moments that set up the tease. Overall, the tease has amplified attention on Full Gear and left match format and final teams unresolved ahead of the pay‑per‑view.

I'm thinking Hangman refused Texas Death because it's THEIR safety word 😆😆

What a great dynamite. A great balance of wrestling, promos, and storyline progression. So much happened tonight you need a score card. Trios texas death! , mercedes/marina, return of Borden, mens blood and guts, dragunov, bang bang Dogs. Tony really reshuffled the deck tonight. #AEWDynamite

WrestleDream was fantastic. Another all-killer no-filler AEW ppv. Brilliant emotional performance from Mox with Davis as the perfect brick wall to stand against him. Action in the trios match was amazing with great character work for all 6 men. Real excited for what's next there.
