Celebrity Traitors, latest episode: Miranda Marples is murdered

tvOct 23, 202641374

Tonight's Celebrity Traitors eliminated Miranda Hart in an on-show 'murder' twist that wrote her out of the game. The episode closed on a round-table cliffhanger with a decision reportedly left between Sharon and Joanne, leaving viewers to wait a week for the outcome. Multiple posts called the Traitors' choice to target Miranda tactically sensible for the traitors while others said the move felt cruel and provoked strong emotional responses. Commenters singled out Kenny and the three traitors for playing confidently and avoiding obvious mistakes, and Romesh received praise for resisting herd mentality during the episode. Several posts compared Miranda's exit to past moments on the franchise and noted interrupted schedules prevented some viewers from watching related companion content like Uncloaked tonight.

#CelebrityTraitors is a wonderful example of people focusing on what is said and done, rather than is not said and not done, and the faithful really need to go and read some Jane Austen and Shirley Jackson.

Hear hear. And I’m sad for Sharon. She really seems to be having a rough time of it, quite undeservedly.

Slightly related, i said to a colleague the other day that it’s a shame you only ever win awards for the contracts you award and never for the ones you don’t, even though the latter are at least as important

It nearly got me. She was so clearly just having such a whale of a time. I hope we see her more on the TV again now

I questioned the Traitors parentage very loudly

Aw. Miranda should have got a “You Have Been Watching” caption and been able to wave at the camera. #CelebrityTraitors

Worst week yet. That isn't even a cliffhanger. It doesn't matter who goes. One hasn't got a clue and the other has given up. It just felt cruel to be honest, especially for Sharon. Romesh has been steadfast in his attempts to avoid herd mentality. Fair play. #CelebrityTraitors

Anyone voting for Sharon on the basis of her actions during that task has clearly never been a sole woman in a room with several very assertive men. #celebritytraitors

The person who'll be happiest with how this episode of The Traitors is going is David Olusoga #CelebrityTraitors

Hannah Fry must be thankful that she got recruited and thus effectively banished because of it because Olusoga maintained the stupidest supposedly smart person Traitors mantle

Honestly, this episode has drove me mad with Sharon being targeted because she ‘didn’t speak up’ at the mission when two grown adult men have already decided who they wanted to get the power 🙄 #celebritytraitors
