Trump launches lengthy attack on Bill Maher on Truth Social

Donald Trump posted a lengthy Truth Social tirade on Sunday night attacking comedian Bill Maher days after the two shared a White House dinner. Trump branded Maher a "COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER," called Maher’s HBO show "Low Rated," and said he would not appear on Real Time with Bill Maher. Trump accused Maher of dishonesty about his commentary and laughter on the show, alleged a "Laughter Machine" was used, and rejected Maher’s suggestion that Trump was losing Republican support, citing an unspecified CNN poll putting him at "98 and 99 per cent" within the party. Trump said the latest dinner, attended by Kid Rock and Stephen A Smith, lasted about two hours or less rather than four, called Maher "not a nice guy," and claimed Maher later returned to his previous critical style. The president praised former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt for her HBO appearance, repeated that Maher had invited himself to an earlier dinner and appeared nervous, and closed by telling Maher "Don’t call anymore... You’re not transformative, you’re a Loser!" Maher had defended attending the dinners on his show, saying "Yeah I did it again b******" and "F*** you. I like these dinners."
