Creators and publishers are intensifying Halloween-week content across art, streaming and indie publishing. Wicked Shadow Press released Halloweenthology 2026, Razor Candy, which includes Lawrence Dagstine’s newly available literary ghost story “The Children of the Barn,” a tale about a farmer and a collection of dead children that previously existed only as a podcast adaptation. Streamers posted seasonal schedules and specials, including a week-of-October-26 stream plan listing a Halloween special and horror playthroughs, and a streamer posting a single Halloween art-completion stream on Oct 26 at 7 PM SGT. Community events and challenges are active: the GoedWare GameJam Halloween III invites developers to build a game in four days, and comics and webtoons signaled Halloween drops such as a new BubbleFox comic update. Artists and hobbyists shared daily spooky art posts and themed prompts, from doll-themed pieces five days before Halloween to a witch-themed seasonal comms event with ten slots running through Oct 31. Film and fandom posts also surfaced, citing horror favorites like Hocus Pocus and V/H/S/HALLOWEEN in seasonal viewing and awards mentions. Together these posts show creators coordinating publications, livestreams, jams and daily art prompts to concentrate Halloween-themed releases and events through Oct 31.
