Y'know I kinda understand a remake of Silent Hill 2 as a marketing thing, the movie was coming out and its like The big one to show that Silent Hill is back but idk why we need a Silent Hill 1 remake other than the fact Konami just won't put the game on storefronts seemingly

I need to actually play SH2R before I can say for certain, but SH1 does have quite a bit there that you can do, if nothing else to give it a little more bridging with SH3 thanks to fore/hindsight Though I'm worried they'll also wanna incorporate SH2-isms into it

I used to wonder why Bloober and Konami decided to remake Silent Hill 2 first but I was thinking about it and it actually makes sense if they decide to do Silent Hill 3 after they finish remaking the first game since it’s the same continuity. Really hope this remake is as good as 2 was.
