Help Sky mutual‑aid fundraiser seeks donations for Britt and Topaz

cultureNov 2, 20261862

Help Sky mutual-aid organizers say Britt and Topaz still need about $2,548 to cover shelter and groceries. Community threads have been soliciting small donations and organizers provided a PayPal.Me link for Daryl Bartley to collect funds. Sample posts show individual requests for small sums and specific needs, with amounts mentioned from $15 up to $1,700 for rent, groceries, car repairs, medical bills, and phone service. Posts use tags such as #HelpSky and #MutualAid to signal requests and ask others to repost or donate. Organizers continue to request donations and shares to close the remaining shortfall and meet immediate shelter and food needs for Britt and Topaz.

hello all, very important jade aid request i really need help fixing my car, more detailed breakdown in attached photo, any help is appreciated 🙂‍↕️ venmo.com/u/ceruleanhe... #mutualaid

white text on a black background, reading:
hey! so uh
my car has been in disrepair for nearly a year now and as a deeply unemployed person i very much cannot afford to fix the problems i have on my own and having access to my own car again would significantly ease the burden on the 2/3 capable drivers across 2 households of 9 largely disabled trans women if there were another driver and potentially help me acquire actual income
parts and repairs, fresher tires, and new tags all included, $500 is the most i feel comfortable asking anyone for
please i know theres a lot of people struggling financially but i cannot sit here and watch people i love run themselves ragged when i could be helping instead
if there are friends and allies in the world who can help, all contributions are deeply appreciated! anything is better than nothing

thank you all so much in advance 🩵🩵
