Tonight’s Beyond The Gates episode brought Heather back to Fairmont Crest and ended on a cliffhanger that left viewers furious after the broadcast was interrupted by a breaking news item about a staff firing. Several posts said Heather lashed out at Vanessa and might be spiraling or indifferent, with one predicting she could stab Joey in the heart. Viewers criticized the show’s uneven writing, saying Joey and Heather receive stronger material than the Dupree characters and that Joey has softened despite his supposed gangster past. Multiple posts called Eva untrustworthy and urged Kat to distance herself, while others accused Naomi and Chelsea of hypocrisy for insisting on sisterly unity yet abandoning a pregnancy storyline. Commenters predicted Chelsea or Dani will try to keep or raise the baby and noted Bill’s recurring sadness and past nastiness toward Dani as context for his current arc. The interruption by the news segment prompted repeated complaints that the show was needlessly halted during the cliffhanger.
