Artemis II completes translunar burn, crew fixes toilet

NASA’s Artemis II fired its engines and completed the translunar injection, sending the Orion spacecraft toward the Moon. The burn occurred about 25 hours after liftoff, placing the crew on a lunar transfer trajectory. Crew members repaired an unexpected toilet malfunction aboard Orion, restoring normal onboard operations. The mission is the first crewed trip toward lunar orbit in more than 50 years, and it will test systems needed for future lunar landings.
