Reform deputy leader Richard Tice owes about £98,100 in unpaid corporation tax after publicly demanding Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner resign over an underpaid stamp duty error. Last year Tice told the press Rayner should resign if she had 'any moral decency' following her admission of the stamp duty mistake. Tice told The Independent he was 'happy to put things right' over the tax shortfall. Because Rayner’s underpaid stamp duty was less than half of Tice’s owed amount, the numeric gap sharpens scrutiny of his call for her resignation.
