Darren Raddysh ripped a power-play slap shot past the Montréal Canadiens in the second period to tie the Tampa Bay Lightning 1-1. The goal erased Montréal's 1-0 lead and came on Tampa Bay's man advantage. Brandon Hagel then scored at 7:16 of the second period, assisted by Jake Guentzel and Ryan McDonagh, to put Tampa Bay up 2-1. Juraj Slafkovský leveled the score 2-2 with 24 seconds remaining in the period on assists from Ivan Demidov and Cole Caufield.
