Active shooter taken into custody after White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting

Leaders last night experienced what it feels like to be a student in school dealing with an active shooter. Unfortunately, the current occupant of the White House is delivering the wrong message from last night. We don't need a ballroom sales job. We need a determination to end gun violence.

In order, being told there's an active shooter He sure looks scared and surprised.

Children as young as five must practice active shooter drills several times a year. They are taught how to crawl on the floor, hide behind furniture, and remain silent as adults (posing as shooters), prowl past their classrooms and test the door locks. It’s traumatic and ugly… for the teachers, too.

Why would the Secret Service let Trump stand right here with an "active shooter" situation? Why on earth would he be there unless he knew it was a false flag operation?

It was the plan all the time. As president, he historically never attends to the White House Correspondents' Dinner dinner. Setup an active shooter at the event. Therefore justifying the bunker at the White House.

So, In 2024 the most elite members of the Secret Service let a lone shooter fire at him at a rally, then let him stand up and pump his fist during the active shooter situation. Now they let a heavily armed man through several layers of security at a premiere press event. Nothing suspicious here.

It's clear to me that no one at the WHCD has been through active shooter training. Clownpants just sat there. These are the same people who allow children to undergo repeated trauma from drills and active shooters. They're the same people who have sent your children to fight Israel's war with Iran.

I guess the Press needs to start doing active shooter drills which are done twice a year in most American schools. Because Republicans love gunz more than school kids.

Yesterday morning news included police officer shot & killed by shooter at Swedish Hospital ER. Evening news of active shooter at WHCD. Woke up this AM to news of a mass shooting at my kid’s university, IU. Fuck. This can’t be normalized. #EnoughIsEnough

There are kindergarteners who do active shooter drills that do better than any of these folks did. Whah whah. Sandy Hook kids and Uvalde kids died and congress didn’t zip.

Dear everyone at the WHCA dinner, that fear you felt while hiding under tables? Remember that feeling every time kids have to hide under a table during an active shooter drill or, god forbid, during an actual active shooting.
