Anne Hathaway says thinner models were not fired from Devil Wears Prada 2
Anne Hathaway said thinner models were not fired from The Devil Wears Prada 2, calling those reports misinformation and saying 'Nobody lost their jobs.' Hathaway returns to the franchise as Andy Sachs and issued the clarification amid claims the production had shifted toward size inclusivity. Her statement rejects reports of mass layoffs and highlights how debates over size inclusivity intersect with hiring and representation in fashion-focused films.
finally watched Devil Wears Prada last night, and really enjoyed it! great flick. only complaint is that the movie presents a certain choice as a moral dilemma (should anne hathaway screw emily blount and go to paris) that isn't really one, because emily blount had been awful to her the entire time
the moral dilemma is then drained of even more force after emily blount gets hit by a car--could she even go to paris in that state? the last time we see her before the trip, she's still in the hospital, and the first time we see her after, she's still in a cast and on crutches
The real villian is Andy's lame boyfriend
Women don't have friends the way men do.
This would obviously be a way darker turn but I always thought Emily Blunt should have been hospitalized for her cheese-oriented eating disorder instead of hit by a car
Honestly my biggest issue of the movie is that that conflict gets resolved even before it really becomes a conflict! You can still have emily blunt get hit by a car but have them fight first at least
Now watch the trailer for the second one to get really pissed off
thankful i don’t have the gay brain parasite that makes you think devil wears prada is a good or funny movie
Well you should go get that parasite since apparently not having it prevents having taste!
If you wanna be unfollowed so bad maybe punch me in the face next time 😠
Despite being full of semi-iconic moments I tried rewatching it a few weeks ago and it just sort of stressed me out? I didn't like any of the characters or root for them.
glad someone is standing on business
