Flower Moon tonight, Bealtaine observances underway

The Flower Moon, the Bealtaine full moon, rises tonight as a full moon in Scorpio, marking the lunar peak for early May. Beltane observances are under way with bonfires, moon-focused rituals, moonlight photography and music, and some participants exchanging symbolic gifts like pearl anklets tied to lore that calls pearls the 'daughters of the moon.' Tarot readers emphasize Scorpio's intensity for this lunation, framing tonight as a moment for emotional release and creative ignition that many photographers, musicians and writers are using as inspiration.
