Drone hits Moscow high-rise near Kremlin
A Ukrainian kamikaze drone struck the Mosfilmovskaya residential tower in western Moscow early Monday, blowing out walls on an upper-floor apartment and scattering debris. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the strike and authorities temporarily closed nearby airports while emergency crews worked at the scene. The attack occurred days before Russia's May 9 Victory Day parade, prompting officials to scale back the Kremlin's showpiece. The strike demonstrates Ukraine is intensifying strikes close to the capital, bringing fighting into Moscow's western neighborhoods and increasing risks to civilians.
Ukrainian drone penetrates Russian air defenses and strikes a Moscow high-rise, just days before the annual Victory Day parade in Red Square on May 9th.
“This incident does add to the general sense of anxiety in the Russian capital.” Ukraine has been living in a perpetual state of anxiety for four years. Welcome to the club Russian people.
Tables have turned. And not even rising oil prices are not going to save russia. If you have been strong supporter of Ukraine, now it's a good time to start paying attention more closely again.
Good. Keep aiming for that war criminal and Trump's handler, PUTIN
They need a drone to zero in on trumps' master.
Good. A taste of what Russia has done for months. Support Ukraine!
No parade for you Russia. Could it be because 2/3 of their military personnel and hardware have been wiped out?
Putin doesn't want to roll his remaining tanks in the parade. The T-34s might be embarrassing to display to the world. Even 75+ year old tanks are getting too expensive and rare to throw away attacking Ukraine. He isn't worried about throwing away the lives of the 4 crew members though.
It would not suprise me one bit if this was friendly fire as my understanding is Putin doesn't have the military gear for his parade. So mayhaps it gets canceled?
Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region overnight, hitting the high-rise Dom na Mosfilmovskaya complex. Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the attack, locals said drones flew at very low altitudes, and airports closed for several hours. #Russia
Ukrainians just warming up and sending a warning
"In fact, Ukraine's response to the ceasefire proposed by Putin is not required. This is a decision of the head of the Russian state, and it will be implemented." - Peskov This weakness begs to be exploited. A few decoys penetrated and roamed freely - more AD must be transferred for the p(ch)arade.
