Steam Deckbuilders Fest kicks off, Serial World demo available
Steam's Deckbuilders Fest kicked off and runs through May 11; Serial World, a roguelike deckbuilding game, released a limited demo as part of the event. Serial World was developed by Serial Project, a two-person studio made up of former LEVEL-5 staff, and is being published by Kakehashi Games, with the demo showcasing card-based progression, procedural encounters, and the game's roguelike loop on PC. The demo is available only during the festival, giving players a short window to try Serial World's mechanics and discover other indie deckbuilders before the fest ends.
