Well I guess I'm going to try cheering for Carolina tonight. Tell me all the good things about the Hurricanes!
I am tired so I might not be able to make it.
The Canes have a goalie named Bussi, and one nicknamed Koochie, and it makes me giggle like a middle schooler every time
Seth Jarvis has a group of high school buddies who show up to games and go nuts for him, it’s very cute!!!
YAY! The coach is a good guy, beloved across the league. Flyers coach just called him "classy" on this interview I'm watching rn lol Also, the players seem like decent people (for the most part). No blatant assholes like some other teams. Loudest stadium in the NHL because the fans love them!
They’re based in North Carolina, which is the good one
We're a buncha jerks - cardiaccane.com/how-a-bunch-... Last I checked our reputation was one of the warmest fan crowds even to opposing team fans, and we introduced a buncha hockey fans to tail gating. www.wral.com/lifestyle/hu... The *loudest* stadium too - it was built for basketball cheering
And their goalie, Freddy Andersen, has been standing on his head this playoffs. An absolute wall! And he was considered a potential liability going in - we love a goalie exceeding expectations. ❤️
The coach is Rod the Bod Brindamour former Philadelphia Flyer
Wife and I just got into hockey this year. Our daughter likes anything weather related, so she goes for the Hurricanes. We also support Minnesota and Colorado so its been very interesting of late hehehe.
One of their main scoring hotshots is named Stankhoven
The city *loves* that team and gets crazy, especially for the playoffs. Barry Frickin Melrose called Hurricanes home games one of the best hockey environments he's ever been in
