Canadiens cruise to 5-1 win over Sabres, even series
The Montreal Canadiens beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-1 in Game 2 on Friday to even the second-round playoff series 1-1. Alex Newhook scored two goals, giving Montreal a 3-1 lead after two periods. Alexandre Carrier and Nick Suzuki also scored for the Canadiens while Buffalo managed a lone goal. The split sends the series back to Montreal's Bell Centre for Game 3, giving the Canadiens momentum heading home.

Great read Brian! Loving this ride that will only get better!!
