New Star Fox game shocks fans, soundtrack added to Nintendo Music

gamingMay 8, 20262469,152

Star Fox's new game was unveiled and several soundtrack tracks were added to Nintendo Music. The announcement's character redesigns, especially Fox McCloud's new look, prompted redraws, portraits, and stylized key art. Creators are also centering Wolf O'Donnell and Slippy in comics, animatics, cosplay reinterpretations, and short fanfics that riff on the Arwing and prequel moments involving James McCloud. Older entries like Star Fox 64 are being revisited in edits and music montages alongside new soundtrack remixes.

i like that the new Star Fox designs have inspired so many people to draw their own versions of the characters, so here's my own preferred design of Fox McCloud

Star Fox fanart with Falco Lombardi to the far left crossing his arms and scowling, Fox McCloud to the right of him holding up his laser gun with a confident smirk on his face, Slippy Toad to the right holding up a wrench with an open mouthed smile, and Peppy Hare to the far right thoughtfully stroking his chin. The team is standing in front of a galaxy backdrop with some white space in the corners as a border.

Opinions on the newest title notwithstanding, I'm still happy to see new Star Fox, and also happy to see I can still draw half-decent furry characters
