it's like yeah of course the mario movies are adverts but it's like being hit with a bat to learn that fox was included in the mario galaxy movie for the simple reason that there was a starfox game they wanted to advertise. it's so heinously cynical

Well, they can’t all be heaters. MKII is better than the first movie but still doesn’t beat the original 1995 film. I expected more gore and violence but the movie felt tame. To me, it was as enjoyable as the Super Mario movies. Just a bunch of cutscenes strung together 🤣🤣 1.5/5

Tezuka was kinda THE guy running Super Mario for the last twenty-five years. Directed my favorite video game of all time, and was main producer on pretty much every Super Mario game since Sunshine. Gonna be interesting to see where the series goes from here.

Fox McCloud is decent, but I'm surprised they didn't use the design from the Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
