I've been a lot of different places in my life and I can honestly say Kelso-Longview, WA might be the most existentially depressing, an impression a chemical tank explosion with mass casualties probably isn't going to change much for the better

Last year I stopped for gas in Longview just before the bridge and there was a lady wandering aimlessly in the parking screaming ‘fuck you’ at passing cars. Felt about right.
