Chris Hayes pressed Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner on MS Now about New York Times reporting in which several former partners described "toxic," "unsettling" and at times violent behavior. Hayes pressed Platner on an SS-style tattoo that reporting said he had called "my Totenkopf," and Platner told Hayes "the new things are false," denying the most serious allegations and calling them politically motivated. The exchange came days before Maine's June 9 Democratic primary and leaves Platner running amid unresolved questions that could shape voters' choices about allegations of abusive conduct and extremist symbolism.
I believe the points I make are important, so it’s important for me to take things slower and calmer, as the mainstream cannot be approached with the same level of fury and breadth of a newsletter or podcast. Just wait until you see me on Chris Hayes’ podcast next week, I’m positively serene.
