Nancy Mace loses South Carolina GOP primary; Evette and Wilson advance to runoff

politicsJun 10, 2026351,060

Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette and Attorney General Alan Wilson advanced to a June Republican runoff for South Carolina governor, while U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace finished fifth and failed to advance. No candidate won a majority in the crowded GOP primary, triggering the head-to-head June runoff under state election rules. Mace lost ground after a string of scandals and her break with President Donald Trump over pushing for release of Jeffrey Epstein files. The runoff will pit two statewide officials against each other to decide the GOP nominee in a deeply Republican state and shape the November contest.

Wonderful news, supreme MAGA lunatic and racist bigot Nancy Mace just lost her primary to be South Carolina Governor after placing in a humiliating 5th place which pairs up well with her time in Congress also coming to an end in January. I’ll drink to that. Bye bye. 🍷💙👊
