Pakistan mediator says U.S.‑Iran peace deal 'closer than ever'
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, mediating talks between Washington and Tehran, said Saturday that a U.S.-Iran peace agreement was "closer than ever before" and could be finalized "in the next 24 hours." U.S. President Donald Trump said the deal would be signed on Sunday and that it would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran’s foreign ministry disputed that timeline but said a signing could occur "in the coming days." Pakistan said it was preparing for an electronic signing followed by technical level talks next week, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was not a party to the proposed deal. If enacted, the agreement would formally end the war in the region, potentially reopening a vital shipping route and reshaping oil and security dynamics across the Middle East.
Trump just announced a US-Iran deal is being signed tomorrow — Wild timing, because there’s a detail floating around that deserves more attention if true… Maybe we should take notes 👀 Iran reportedly brought in senior psychologists to help them negotiate with Trump.
They allegedly believe he’s operating in an impaired state — so they’ve been building psychological profiles and vetting every message before it passes through mediators
I thought it was a well know fact that trump was 'legitimately mentally ill' !
Everyone on the Iranian negotiating team has a PhD. Trump sent fucking Jared. They are wildly outmatched. Trump thinks Iran is a third world country but they’re one of the just educated countries on earth. Disagree with how they use that education all you want but they aren’t manipulable.
Are we looking at a Trump Tehran hotel complex getting green lit?
Why haven’t the democrats in congress come up with this?

“Finalized?” Really? They’re trying to agree on a Memorandum of Understanding. That’s hardly final.
There is no deal. The announcement is factually premature. An MoU is legally non-binding. It's a preliminary framework to begin talks. Calling it a finalised deal or a peace treaty is factually incorrect. Labeling it as such distorts the actual state of international law and diplomacy.
He wants this on his birthday
Look closer. This is an agreement to continue talking, not end the war or deal with Iran’s nuclear materials. It also recognizes Iran in charge of the Straits with Iran allegedly agreeing to open it but will retain full control. The real deal Obama achieved was so much better, cheaper, & safer
It better be one hell of a deal or he is fucked.
