Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the Voronezh Semiconductor Devices Plant (VZPP-S) in Voronezh, Russia, hitting the facility and triggering fires. Ukrainian intelligence says the plant assembles microelectronic and semiconductor components used in Russian air-defense and missile systems, naming S-300, S-400, Pantsir, Iskander and cruise missiles. Footage and local reports show fires burning at multiple points inside the factory and audible blasts across the city. The strike targets Russia’s defense-industrial base and could disrupt production of missile and air-defense components, signaling Ukraine’s effort to hit domestic military supply chains.
