Oil prices fall as US Iran talks show progress
“.. Oil prices are no longer the dominant factor driving US Treasury yields, with the correlation between the two breaking down. US 2-year yields have reached the highest levels since February 2025, even while crude continues to decline.” @bloomberg.com
Maybe the correlation has just changed. Who’d wanna Hole us securities when the us is behaving so erratically
This situation worries me. The fed can only raise rates but that doesn't put more oil out there. Our inflation is heavily man made. Tariffs and attacks on Iran. Can this be cured by forcing layoffs and more pain on the American consumer?
Was it stupidity that killed the US, or treason? Personally, I wouldn't accept "I didn't know this would happen" as an excuse when it comes to that. This was intentional damage. Hold on to your hats — sprung not yet are all the financial triggers laying in wait to hither. 🙃
BREAKING: oil prices give up gains, swing to loss... WTI down 27 cents, Brent down $1.27/bbl "U.S. and Iran agree on roadmap for final deal" (CNBC)
Feel like we’ve been at “road map to a concept of an agreement to a concept of a deal” for months now.
New roadmap to a memorandum for the draft of an agreement to arrive at a framework, coming in two weeks
Doesn’t mean anything until Netanyahu (and Hezbollah) agree to the roadmap.
