Charania wrote that Ball wants to remain in Charlotte but could be traded if a team meets the Hornets' asking price, and league insiders expect developments within the next 24 to 48 hours. An observation about NBA chit chat ... there's a 24-year-old All-Star taken high in the 2020 draft who has three years left on a 5-year max contract. His team hasn't made the playoffs in his career, but we don't hear anything about LaMelo Ball wanting out.
