U.S. and Iran trade strikes after attack near Strait of Hormuz
NEWS: Another vessel has reportedly been struck in the Strait of Hormuz. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says a tanker was hit by an unidentified projectile, damaging the ship’s bridge. All crew members are reported safe, with no environmental damage reported so far.

Trump has hurt the whole world with his senseless strike on Iran! We had no problems with them since the deal that Barack Obama made
Every new incident in the Strait of Hormuz raises the cost of uncertainty. Until there are verified facts, speculation only makes an already dangerous situation even more dangerous.
That MOU with Iran was apparently not as locked down and airtight as we were led to believe. 🙄
The Iranians laid it all out. Some ships refuse to fill out their "insurance" forms. To those that refuse, the ship's safety cannot be guaranteed.
Maybe it’s a good time to start buying EVs. The sun doesn’t care about the strait of Hormuz.
Given Oman’s precarious geographical location in the hot seat, I wonder if they’ve considered changing the country’s name to “O, man”?
It's getting peacier by the day. (Peacier is a real word because I say so!)
The question everyone, all across the world is asking,,,, every day…
Blaming Trump isn’t enough. Democrats need their own plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Nancy Pelosi, when asked about Democrats’ counterproposal to Bush’s plan to “reform” Social Security in 2005: “How about ‘nothing’? Does ‘nothing’ work for you?”
Put Strait of Hormuz tolls on the blockchain by Andrew Yang
Just wanted to express my appreciation for your brilliant posts. They keep me sane during these awful times.
It’s definitely going to be a 2028 election issue.
Let's not and say we did. Oh, wait, that's the Orange Caligula's plan
This is the scary part because there are two options: 1. Bow to Iran and all its greatness, may the United States forever be the little guy that got its ass whooped by a group of Twelver Ja'fari terrorists. 2. Fight. Democrats don't and shouldn't want to own either option. Make Trump finish it.
Ooooh! Can already feel the rage boiling up from the depths of my soul.
Iran is showing who actually controls the Strait of Hormuz. Another strike on a commercial ship today and a reported attack on Bahrain. The threat level has been raised by the Joint Maritime Information Centre.
Perhaps if Vance and Trump spent less time talking about imaginary “cards” and started listening to experts, we wouldn’t be in this deeply humiliating situation.
But JD Vance said the USA will win, either way. And that was just yday 🤣
Malcolm Nance says Iran blew up a ship early in the conflict and continues to use it as target practice as a warning. Not sure where his intel is from but he’s generally good for it.
“Don’t worry baby, by Monday before the opening bell rings, it’ll all be peaceful, again”
How the hell are you always so on the ball?
But I thought America held all the cards ?
The new US-Iran fire is likely because US representatives told the Iranians they can charge tolls to transit the Strait of Hormuz, told the Gulf Arabs and US public there’d be no tolls, and hoped “Peace Deal!” headlines would be enough. Turns out, punting on all hard questions isn’t actually peace.
Is it an agreement if both parties disagree?
The diplomatic equivalent of Trump U or Trump Steaks. Slap a label on some shit and watch the suckers pay.
Hard to have a successful peace deal when the guy leading it makes Harry Ellis from Die Hard seem like a decent negotiator.
Who knew that saying peace deal three times in one day isn’t a magical formula to actually have peace.
But lying worked so well with the American public...
Did Trump just start another forever war? @swin24.bsky.social reports on the latest U.S. strikes on Iran, growing fears inside the Trump administration, and why some officials believe the U.S. has entered another "forever war." Read more: zeteo.com/p/new-us-ira...
The IRGC leadership has to be loving every minute of having the great Satan's balls in a vice and giving a twist every day or two to let him know who has all the cards
forever war kind of implies that it's outside of our power to stop all of it whenever we want
No, he did that on February 28 and nothing has changed since then.
And the Democrats will come to power, end it, and they will accuse us of doing an absolutely fucking horrible job of it! It’s a photograph record. I’ve listened played over 70 years of my life. It’s time we fucking broke it.
CENTCOM: “U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter jets conducted strikes tonight on 10 Iranian military targets at multiple locations in and near the Strait of Hormuz for Iran's drone attack on M/T Kiku.”
Our country led by an imbecile; our military led by a weekend Fox News host with a drinking problem—what could go wrong?
“But imma still give you $300B”
But I thought we had destroyed Iran's entire military. 🙄
When men were men. "I am the leader of the most powerful military in the history of the world. I don't make threats." President Biden's Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, speaking to the Russians
TAKE THAT MOSTLY EMPTY DESERT!
Anyone who thinks fuel prices will be coming down anytime soon is delusional.
🇺🇸🔥🇮🇷 CENTCOM: US struck Iranian military targets (surveillance, comms, air defense, drone storage, minelayers) after Iran broke the ceasefire by hitting tanker M/T Kiku near the Strait of Hormuz this morning. Shipping through the strait continues.
But but Iran is not supposed to have a military
I’m sorry……who broke the ceasefire? Didn’t we strike them last weekend?
Eh, the MOU was just a way to pause the war for Trump to have his birthday with less drama, perhaps to grift a little, otherwise it reads like the US capitulation. Nothing burger again.
🇺🇸‼️🇮🇷 Fox News: Current US strike on Iran is larger than last night’s. US and Bahraini forces shot down 9 Iranian drones launched at US forces in Bahrain.
I was told we've already blown up all their targets. The President said. They must've built a whole new air defense net in a few days. So that's impressive.
