Shohei Ohtani hit the 300th home run of his MLB career with a leadoff, 409-foot solo shot against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium. The homer came on a 112.2 mph exit velocity, 19-degree launch angle line drive off pitcher Michael Lorenzen. The blast is Ohtani's 20th of the 2026 season and brings his career total to 300, of which 129 have come with the Los Angeles Dodgers. MLB Stat lines and game video note the Dodgers took a 1-0 lead on the play in the first inning. The milestone further cements Ohtani's standing as a two-way star combining pitching credentials with power hitting at an uncommon scale for a starting pitcher.
