Bethesda reveals roadmap, confirms Elder Scrolls VI focus and Fallout 5 preproduction

Midnight Oil5That's all cool, though definitely reads like a corporate requirement rather than how they had any desire to announce anything. Especially with Elder Scrolls still multiple years off. We aren't seeing any Fallout 5 from BGS til like.... 2033 at the earliest.

IDK the specifics of the bad blood there, but New Vegas 2 has always been a "print money" button and Bethesda just sitting on it was always crazy.

It’s hard not to be cynical about a massive letter talking from Bethesda about all the games they’re working on when Xbox as a whole reeks of desperation. I mean, they reportedly announced Senua with the express intent of selling Ninja Theory. How can I be sure this isn’t another ploy?

Adam4071While deceptive, I do think Xbox did them a solid by showing Senua. Still, as a fan of a lot of games Xbox has put out over the years, it's hard to trust them given how many titles they've announced and cancelled. Scalebound, Perfect Dark (still mad), Everwild, Contraband, Phantom Dust remake etc.
