Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in Miami, face UK extradition

cultureJul 21, 202623370

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Miami after the UK Crown Prosecution Service announced 38 new charges against them, including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, and offences relating to indecent images of a child. British officials are seeking to extradite the brothers to face those new charges and several preexisting allegations. Photographs show Andrew Tate in handcuffs in what the Independent described as skin-tight black capri trousers, a silky purple blouse, dark aviators, diamond chains, and sockless loafers; the article says he has been photographed in handcuffs at least four times. Tate’s attorney called the charges “madness” and baseless and said the brothers will fight extradition. The arrest and the CPS charges set up a formal extradition process and potential criminal prosecutions in the UK if British authorities prevail.
