AEW ran Redemption live from the Bell Centre in Montreal as the final pay-per-view on the road to All In: London at Wembley Stadium on August 30. The planned main event pitted AEW World Champion Kenny Omega against TNT Champion Kevin Knight; Omega's first defense since beating MJF at Beach Break earlier this month, with coverage noting it was very unlikely Knight would leave Montreal with the title and that The Don Callis Family's reaction would be pivotal. The AEW Women's World Championship was also on the line, with Thekla defending against Willow Nightingale for a spot to face Mercedes Moné at All In. Will Ospreay, the 2026 Men's Owen Hart Cup winner, teamed with Jon Moxley to face the Young Bucks in a high-tempo tag that featured early chaos and head collision between Nick Jackson and Ospreay. The Conglomeration retained the AEW World Trios Championship over The Lethal Twist after Roderick Strong hit End of Heartache and pinned Orange Cassidy. On the Buy In, Speedball Mike Bailey won a six-way ladder match over Jungle Jack Perry, El Clon, The Beast Mortos, Nick Wayne, and Komander to become the No. 1 contender for the International Championship. Mastercard hosting elements included a French-language tribute to the Rogueaus by Matt Menard that Rocky Romero interrupted, and commentators Renee Paquette and Mick Foley called video packages and matches throughout the broadcast.
