Actor Tom Holland vomited while filming Hot Ones, becoming the program's first guest to do so in its 11-year history, host Sean Evans told viewers. Holland appeared alongside his The Odyssey co-star Jon Bernthal to sample the show’s spicy wings; Bernthal warned him “You’re setting a precedent, a dangerous one, Tom” before Holland fell ill. Holland admitted during the taping that the heat made him feel like he might lose consciousness, and Bernthal later shouted “Take a picture of it!” pointing at the floor where Holland had upchucked. Hot Ones regulars including Jim Gaffigan, Kevin Hart, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson have previously eaten the wings without vomiting. Holland and Bernthal’s appearance comes while Holland promotes his not-yet-released Spider-Man: Brand New Day and their shared project The Odyssey.
