Robert Eggers unveils first poster for Werwulf
First poster for Robert Eggers' ‘WERWULF’. In theaters on December 25.
Christmas Day screenings of Robert Eggers-directed goth-ass monster movies with funny title spellings have become a tradition in my home
Trailer for this came on when I went to see ‘the Odyssey’. It’s pretty intense. I’m afraid when the title came up at the end I was unable to refrain from saying into the accompanying silence: ‘There wolf. There castle.’
I love werewolf movies! I recently stumbled upon “Wolf” with Jack Nicholson, James Spader, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Plummer, Kate Nelligan and loads of more great actors. A real gem and a total treat to watch!
We had an age of Vampires. Time to lock in for the Werewolves!!!
Eggers after watching "Obsession "
no one really gives a f*k about another werewolf film
i will happily watch Robert Eggers torment weird protestant freaks until the end of the time
me when I sleep on top of my arm and I wake up numb
On a scale of 5 to 10 how many times do you think I'll see this in theaters
gotta be honest i'm pumped for goth wes anderson's next movie

Im clawing at the edges of my enclosure YYEEEEAAHHHH
Tell my family I will be observing Jewish Christmas this year (going to da movies)
I'm very excited for this but I fear it will be a wolfman not a werewolf and I'm like, pre-disappointed.
*Delco accent* œ nœ I’m turnin innada Werwulf
you were born this way baby
Devoureth All Mankynde. New official poster for WERWULF. From director Robert Eggers. In theaters December 25.
Released on a full moon no less
.. need more wulf, less wer
This will make such a sick shirt
Huuuuuge opportunity by missed to call it VVerevvulf. Get your shit together, Eggers
✅ killer tagline ✅ wonderful design and composition ❌ bearded human man with no monstrous features If the film is as big a whiff as the poster, I'm going to walk backwards into hell
Is he, you know, a werwulf
Oh no I’m totally seated
Me: Film adaptations don’t need to be historically accurate. Also me: Does that tagline imply that “devoureth” is an imperative and if not, why is there no subject, oh no!
If he doesn’t actually transform, I will curse ol’Bobby Eggy director/writer-man with 10,000 years of bad luck
Getting a lot of Danhausen vibes from Dafoe in this one.
Eu acordando depois de ter dormido relativamente torto
Y'ALL ALREADY KNOW I'M BRICKED BOBBY EGGS DONT MISS
One poster and I am bought. After The Lighthouse and Nosferatu I trust Robert Eggers 100%
I dig the poster. I still think we are getting a more wolfman werewolf, though.
The official poster for Robert Eggers’ Werwulf 🐺 In theaters on December 25. Add to your watchlist ➡️ https://boxd.it/SC72
inject it into my veins immediately
looking forward to seeing this in one of the 5 available theaters a week after dune and doomsday come out
I am so pumped for this.
i'm seated. the theater employees are scared and asking me to leave because it 'isn't even winter' but i'm simply too seated.
im about to be so annoying next year
Instant contender for Tagline of the Decade.
só pelo poster eu já quero assistir
I’m gonna be very normal about this… very normal……
FIRST TIME AS AN ADULT I’M EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS
This is going on the wall. HOLY!
The first poster for Robert Eggers’ ‘WERWULF’ has been released. In theaters this Christmas. #Werwulf #RobertEggers
Trailer for this came on when I went to see ‘the Oddessy’. It’s pretty intense. I’m afraid when the title came up at the end I was unable to refrain from saying into the accompanying silence: ‘There wolf. There castle.’
is it me or does dat w look like a sloth. heh
Nothing conveys the joy and magic of Christmas like a bloody werewolf killing spree
They spelled it wrong on their first poster! How embarrassing! They couldn’t afford a proofreader?!? 😉
I'm still waiting for Swearwulf
Saw this trailer whilst awaiting a big-budget feature. Trailer looked like it was shot in a pigsty, at dusk, with a “heavy blood” filter. Luckily, we had the feature’s three hours of man-eating monsters, men turned into pigs, existential dread, and hero-with-PTSD as a light, refreshing chaser. ;-)
I read "Devoureth all Mankynde" and thought of Blackadder. "Is this Putney?" "That it be, that it be." "Yes it is, not that it be... I'm not a tourist."
hopefully lily doesn’t do the bitch ass accent she did in nosferatu 😇 (i said what i said, it was so fucking bad)
i will be in the theatre howling
Werwulf finally got an official poster. Last full moon we got the trailer, this full moon we got the poster, maybe they reveal something every full moon
Excellent strategy, lets see if the film pays off.
Getting wendigo vibes now based on the poster and tagline
I'm hoping we get to see actual werewolves in this movie, and not mutated humans passed off to be a werewolf like the latest Wolf-Man movie.
Yeah that seems to be the case lol. I dig it.
I really hope that, one day, Robert Eggers breaks character and makes like a comedy in a modern setting or something
Powerful yearning for an Eggers "and now a silly one!" era
I love his style, I just think it’d be fun to do something completely different one time before going back to period horror
ALLE IN DIE FAMILIE By Robert Eggers Archibald von Bunker is a typical middle-class family man in 1300’s Bavaria, struggling with etc etc
