Kelsey Plum traded to Phoenix Mercury
in honor of Kelsey Plum transforming from a Spark into a Mercury, let us all relive this moment
Women be throwing things great distances with great accuracy
Kelsey is about 5'7" and 140lbs, which makes that throw all the more impressive.
I've watched this video several times before, and am amazed afresh each time; it never gets old. First, there's the length of the throw, something I could never do, but 2ndly, and most importantly, is its arc, without which the rolled-up jersey could not have reached its target. Perfection, it is.
I shake my head in awe each time I see it. Incredible.
I have watched this over and over!
No less insane than the first time you posted it 🫨
This might be one of those trades where everybody loses. Genuinely confused by the thought process here. Is this a “win now” move for Phoenix? #WNBA
Phoenix wins, they needed a consistent pg or shooter badly. Plum fits better than Arike.
It's weird but I'm in for it. Trading a first is wild but KP with Kah and At and Bonner could be a lot of fun. Kinda hope they go on a quick run and make it playoff race
#WNBA Take a look at PHX remaining sked. They can absolutely back into the playoffs. think of this: AT w/the ball pulls a big away from the basket. and now you cant double or shade Kah bc KP gonna make you pay.
I felt like if Phoenix was in a better position right now, this would've look better on paper. They may end up having a whole new roster come next season around Plum and it will be another rebuild situation. This was almost like the AD/Luka trade.
It might be a win now move. Kelsey and Kahleah together is going to be interesting.
While they may not make playoffs but the could definitely act as spoilers to the top 8 team with plum copper AT bonner and lack along with held whitcomb and others that's a formidable team even though they defense is not that good.
The Mercury are six games out of playoff position with 14 games remaining in the regular season. I'm told Kelsey Plum still intends to go through free agency, adding to the risk of acquiring the All-Star this late in the season. www.nytimes.com/athletic/748...
"Plum still intends to go through free agency" Lol, lmao even
The 11-19, four games out of playoff contention Phoenix Mercury trading Monique Akoa Makani, a 2027 first round pick and a 2028 second round pick for Kelsey Plum’s expiring contact coming off a major injury is a decision that was made.
lol what a bad trade for the mercury
