Red Sox hit three homers in one inning to surge past Dodgers

Ceddanne Rafaela, Wilyer Abreu and Masataka Yoshida hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the third inning at Dodger Stadium, giving the Boston Red Sox a 5-3 lead in Los Angeles. The three homers came consecutively in that frame and flipped the early deficit into a Boston advantage. Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy praised Rafaela, saying "He’s otherworldly right now" after Rafaela's power surge on the road trip. The sequence capped a strong stretch for Rafaela, who had also homered in the previous game, and provided a momentum swing for Boston against the defending champions.
