Uli Latukefu cast as Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda movie
Sam Neill has a role in the live-action ‘Legend of Zelda’ movie ⚔️ It is his final on-screen performance (via Deadline)
I hope he actually finished the thing and they're not going to dig up SAIm Neill.
Please, please, please be this guy.
Praying he played the King of Hyrule and not the Zora.
Key details about the film: 🔗 deadline.com/2026/08/lege...
Que seja o rei. @danimilkyart.bsky.social @lyontothepast.bsky.social @andrezzabplays.bsky.social
his portrayal of Navi will be legendary
Nintendo and Sony would be doing the right thing by including an "In Memoriam" credit at the end.
We he be the king of hyrule 🥺
El búho cabrón que te repite cosas
He better be helping Lank kill some dodongos
Don’t know why he’s dressed as Alan Grant for ZELDA, but I’m excited.
Why would you do this to me?
“It’s dangerous to go alone. They’re moving in herds.”
Everyone's going "Oh hey must play the King" wrong, he is playing Moblin #3
Mas esse aqui me pegou. Se ele for o Rei de Hyrule eu vou chorar no cinema.
It’s gonna be the Great Deku Tree calling it now
is there any way to stop them from making a Zelda movie. as a favor to me, maybe. a treat for JD. no Zelda movie, congratulations JD you get your wish this time
it would be so good if lightning would strike the computer that has all the footage on it, obliterating it completely
I would expand this opinion into "No films made about video games with silent protagonists."
We already have the Zelda movie: m.youtube.com/watch?v=TN8-...
I will let it arrive. I will let it pass over me, unseen, and once the shadow is gone I will continue onward.
NO MOVIE CANON FOR GANON
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is playing Link
Uli Latukefu will star as Ganondorf in the live-action ‘LEGEND OF ZELDA’ movie. (Source: @kylebuchanan.bsky.social)
Canon Ganon is now a thing, after so many fan film variants.
funny thing "Taliaʻuli Latukefu is an Australian actor and singer, best known for his roles as Dwayne Johnson in the NBC comedy Young Rock"
"Get me The Rock!" "Sir, he's too expensive and getting old!" "Then get me his younger equivalent!"
His nose is too short. Ganondorf deserves a schnoz that can cut glass.
Great. Cast the person of color as the villain against the heroic white leads. That won't be problematic.
I thought that was The Rock and had a false jumpscare.
Vão deixar Ganon AINDA MAIS GOSTOSO?????!!!!!!
Ganondorf, entre na minha casa e coma os Dekus de toda a minha família
Please dont eff this up
Ok, i can kinda get behind that
Infelizmente não estarei do lado do twink
young rock was the final boss this whole time.
Oh why hello there, Mr. Ganondorf!🫦 [*giggles nervously in Hylian]
Ngl this is an inspired pick
Quero ver ele dançando SUAVEMENTE
'Uli Latukefu Lands Villain Role Of Ganondorf In Sony & Nintendo’s ‘The Legend Of Zelda’' "We hear Latukefu inked a multi-picture deal." deadline.com/2026/08/lege...
Kneel before The King of the Gerudo
First look of Link vs Ganon
Not the first "The Legend Of..." movie he'd be in. 🙃
Wait,i thought the movie was further along or is the first movie going to not have the series main villain(ganon/ganondorf)? Ooooor is the first movie featuring drmise as the antagonist? It would be kind of a bad start if it was vaati or worse an even less prominent antagonist.
I’m glad they’re maintaining accuracy to the source material by having Ganondorf be hot
Honestly could work out well
Dont @ me unless they announce the Tingle casting
The one net positive about this to me imo is that they're casting actors that aren't familiar to a general audience and I think that's really neat and cool
damn aony's making this? [they have fixed the typo it's not there anymore]
Suddenly, I too am a Gerudo
Boy, can’t wait to see what that costuming and makeup looks like as folks try to navigate between that and thirsting for him
ele interpretou o The Rock jovem adulto na série sobre a vida do The Rock (junto com mais dois atores que interpretaram o the rock criança e o the rock adolescente)
*busca* Mide casi dos metros, bien elegido.
You just KNOW Dwayne's standing outside Nintendo's offices with a whole "Gerudo Cinematic Universe" proposal like... #FizzVsGaming
the inclusion of "multi-movie deal" in that rumor about the Zelda casting implying not just live-action Zelda movies but live-action Zelda movies written and paced with the explicit intent of being a trilogy is truly the version of this concept I think I wanted least
Creating new Zelda timelines based off WILDLY different actors for each movie
Wowie they really did pick like the most cursed option huh, especially since it looks kinda off to begin with. Live action just aint a good look on link
This is 3000% a heartless cash-in that will be directed by the C-suite and appeal to no one but the Disney Adult consoomer type.
this is hard to do when the gerudo are also extremely racist in like ten different ways lol. nintendo lodged it in there pretty deep it's really hard to detangle this stuff without making it just Not Zelda anymore. one of the many reasons i am not writing a movie adaptation of ocarina of time
They've kinda detangled it, but it's still pretty bad. Nowadays it's "the Gerudo are chill, it's really just this one guy who sucks" which is an improvement over Ocarina, but the whole thing is still fetishizing the Middle East
I still can't believe they brought the nose thing back in botw, like guys you've had time to think about this
I think it's really dishonest and malicious to frame Gerudo as racist while the actual narrative that emerges from the game is that feminists are evil and will immediately follow the first competent man they encounter, even if he's fantasy hitler
Dichen Lachman, Yvonne Strahovski and the late Sam Neill to appear in The Legend of Zelda movie http://gonintendo.com/contents/63576-dichen-lachman-yvonne-strahovski-and-the-late-sam-neill-to-appear-in-the-legend-of #zelda
I will accept Sam Neill as the King of Hyrule as long as he does it in his full Peaky Blinders Northern Irish accent
Sam Neill as King Zora. He reenacts that one scene. You know the one.
Please let Sam be the King. It would be an amazing fit for his final film appearance.
