My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 review of LA FEMME NIKITA boxd.it/fTh353 Outlandish? Sure. Improbable? Definitely. Thrilling? 💯 Action sequences wow & Parillaud makes stunning transformation from feral street thug to poised government assassin. As film progresses, its emotional impact sneaks up on you! #filmsky 📽

Springfield, MO cosplayers weigh in on what were action movies in 1985. Were “Back to the Future” & “The Breakfast Bunch” among them? Russ thinks not, but “The Goonies” had the #WWE connection. If only it was as mean as “Death Wish 3”. music.amazon.com/podcasts/8e1... #filmsky #moviesky #claude

Wildly subjective and affected by recency bias in terms of some picks but, nevertheless… #FilmSky boxd.it/WFp9C

On my second watch, I include My ★★★★ review of The End of Oak Street on Letterboxd: boxd.it/fTeyOn Specifically how Cinemablend’s article about how it should have been set in 2026 is absolute rubbish #265MovieReview #movies #filmsky 📽️ @moondogrick.bsky.social

I saw IL SORPASSO (1962) Sat w/ an audience of mostly first-timers who loved the film, but not the ending. I get that, but don't think it ranks w/ the great Italian classics of that era without it. Otherwise, it's just an above-average road movie. Judge for yourself on Criterion Channel. #FilmSky

Real (2013) is extremely close to being Kurosawa's best picture. Incredibly underrated film because it did not conform to expectations (the eternal "where's Cure 2"). One of his greatest masterpieces, possibly even his greatest. #filmsky 📽️
