ReelRank RetCon 2024 goes live, community to pick mid-year best films

ReelRank launched RetCon 2024, its inaugural mid-year awards for movies that premiered in 2024. The awards are entirely decided by the ReelRank community; members must log in and use the reelrank.net/giveaward page, select the 'Best of 2024' season, and pick categories or add awards from a film's page. Eligible films must have their earliest premiere date in 2024. Nomination categories highlighted by ReelRank include Best Screenplay, Best Acting, Best Design, Best Direction, the Marcia Lucas Memorial Best Editing award, Best Music, Best Cinematography and an overall Best Film award. Completing an award season grants the voter 100XP toward their ReelRank level. Winners will be announced October 1st.
