Heated Rivalry wins TCA Program of the Year

Heated Rivalry, the Crave/HBO Max romance about two closeted professional hockey players, was named Program of the Year at the Television Critics Association’s 42nd Annual TCA Awards. Widow's Bay won three awards, taking Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, Outstanding New Program, and Individual Achievement in Comedy for Kate O’Flynn as eccentric mayoral assistant Patricia Moyer. The TCA also honored In Living Color with the Heritage Award and granted Stephen Colbert a Career Achievement award while The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won Outstanding Achievement in Variety, Talk or Sketch. Other winners included The Pitt for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, Rhea Seehorn for Individual Achievement in Drama for Pluribus, The Traitors for Outstanding Achievement in Reality, and Ken Burns’s The American Revolution for Outstanding Achievement in News and Information. TCA President Andy Dehnart praised the season’s range, saying "Creepy ghost stories, hot athlete romance, and a global hive mind all produced engaging television and outstanding art."
