NY Sen. Jessica Ramos accused of double‑billing campaign travel
Get the sense staffers dropped a dime on her over the Cuomo thing www.nytimes.com/2026/08/21/n...
Could also have been the leverage that led to the Cuomo thing.
15 months after she endorsed him?
I saw her at an early mayoral debate. The woman said she took her kids to The Jewish Museum. On Rosh Hashanah. She seemed surprised it was not open. Because it was a good day for her kids to learn something. And she told this story publicly. I can't even.
1) hilarious this didn't come out during either the mayoral or this year's primary campaign (which she lost anyway) 2) New York state legislators are actually paid well enough that they have *no* reason besides greed to do fraudulent double reimbursements for travel
um, no, someone making one hundred and forty-two thousand dollars a year *before* reimbursements can afford to properly reimburse their travel. it's a trip to Albany, not a cross-country flight!
Is it good when your former chief of staff is willing to go on record about your fraud
