Lionel Richie hospitalized after St. Louis concert, enters ICU

Lionel Richie, 77, checked himself into a St. Louis hospital after his Saturday night performance at The Muny in Forest Park and is in the intensive care unit while doctors run tests. Sources tell TMZ physicians are investigating possible slight dehydration and Richie hopes to be discharged Tuesday. Witnesses said Richie struggled near the end of the show and asked his team to bring him a chair so he could sit while performing the final song "All Night Long." TMZ notes this is Richie's second onstage health incident this summer after he was rushed to a hospital in June following a performance in St. Paul, Minnesota. Richie's representatives have not responded to requests for comment.

There's been several older artists this summer who have had to cancel shows due to illness. Maybe it's time for them to face the reality of it time to come off the road.

People don't tend to get admitted to the ICU for dehydration; it would have be very severe dehydration. Usually they run an IV & rehydrate you in the ED. Hope he's not really sick & it is just dehydration. 🙏
