Fox News has parted ways with longtime anchor Maria Bartiromo after more than 12 years at Fox News and Fox Business. A network spokesperson said, "We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 1/2 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter," and Fox is rebranding her shows, including Mornings with Maria, to run with a rotating cast of anchors. Bartiromo joined Fox in 2014 after a high-profile stint at CNBC and had hosted programs bearing her name on both Fox Business and the Fox News Channel. Bartiromo supported former President Donald Trump and promoted baseless 2020 election fraud theories that featured in a defamation case brought by Dominion Voting Systems; Fox settled that case for more than $787 million as the trial was about to begin. Bartiromo is also named in a second multibillion-dollar defamation suit against Fox, and until this announcement she was the only individual defendant still working at the network.
