So rather than put Texas ABC affiliates in the middle of it, Kimmel says the full interview will be posted to YouTube instead. This is where we are now. A candidate interview gets moved off broadcast television because local stations are worried about what the federal government might do next.

It's shameful that the FCC is abusing its authority to prevent Americans from hearing directly from candidates during election season. Interviews with political candidates are chilled thanks to the FCC, and news programs aren't immune from it.

It is incumbent on every news organization to take clips of the interview, that is airing on Youtube, and broadcast as much as the fair use exception will allow. Also, Carr should go to prison for this and Democrats on oversight should send the preserve-all-records letter right now.
