Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall has signed a new contract that runs until summer 2031, agreeing a two-year extension to his original deal. The 22-year-old, a boyhood supporter, said extending his stay was a "really proud moment" and praised the club and new head coach Matthias Jaissle. Hall has made 106 appearances for Newcastle since joining from Chelsea in 2023 and has provided two assists already this season. Jaissle called Hall "a very important player for us" who defends with maturity, covers ground, and has significant room to develop. The deal follows summer interest from Manchester United and rewards Hall’s defensive improvements and attacking output, including strong Champions League displays. Tying Hall down is one of Newcastle’s notable moves during a busy transfer window and secures a regular starter as the club builds under Jaissle.
