You don't know pain suffering until you become a Mariners fan. It's Stockholm Syndrome with a baseball. Yeah, the Lions have never been to a Super Bowl, but they did win the old NFL Championship four times ('35, '52, '53, '57). Which is still four more championships than the Mariners will ever win.

Silly question but….if St. Brown was expecting 33 mil this year and his new number is 12 mil, does he actually get paid 28 or 12 this year? Is the salary cap just for the books or does it impact when the actual pay occurs?
