Blue Jays hit three consecutive homers; Vladdy records first Rogers Centre HR

George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Kazuma Okamoto hit consecutive home runs against the Baltimore Orioles, delivering a back-to-back-to-back sequence off starter Trevor Rogers. Guerrero's long fly came in the fifth inning and was his first home run at Rogers Centre this season, occurring in his 289th plate appearance and the 150th game of 2026. Earlier in the game Guerrero had a ball taken away by the Rogers Centre wind on a right-center drive that Statcast says was blown in 11 feet, turning a would-be homer into a double. Guerrero stood motionless as his fifth-inning shot cleared the wall, earned a curtain call from the sellout crowd, and prompted visible celebrations in the Blue Jays dugout. The three-homer burst quickly changed the game momentum and left the Blue Jays in a much stronger position while giving Guerrero a long-awaited home milestone to build on.
