Bo French posts racist photo about University of Texas students

As a reminder, Bo French didn't attend the University of Texas, but -- in his role as a white man -- he thinks he gets to complain about the demographics of actual students who do attend classes there. White guys own everything, you see.

Move over Ken Paxton. There is another odious Republican running statewide in Texas that needs our attention. GOP candidate for Texas Railroad Commission Bo French is an outright bigot - see below - and he needs to be stopped in November. His Democratic opponent is @jon-rosenthaltx.bsky.social.

Years of bigots like Bo French complaining about immigrants not assimilating. But it is physically impossible to be more American than partying it up in the stands when your college football team beats Ohio State.

If you really felt Bo French was unfit for office, then you would endorse his Democratic opponent Jon Rosenthal. Bonus, he’s also an engineer, which would be helpful as a Railroad Commissioner (which actually oversees the oil and gas industry)

All these Republican condemnations of Bo French are meaningless unless they include a call for him to drop out of the race. Their criticism without a call to action is just them saying, "Yeah, it's bad, but we would still prefer him over the Democrat."

The thing about Bo French is that he isn't really an abberration. He is the logical endpoint of decades of Islamaphobia that has been allowed to fester on the right. He's not quite the dog who caught the car, but he's getting close.

I’m a 66 year old white guy who sent two daughters to UT. The only problem I see is that Bo French got a major party nomination for an important state-wide office.
