maybe the coolest thing about 007 First Light is that it takes role playing through systems very seriously, more seriously than most third person games, which personally I wish were more common

Finally playing 007: First Light and some people are having a pop at the graphics. Luckily, every single time I start a game, I have forgotten games don’t still look like this:

Holy shit. 007 First Light is a banger. From the awesome tutorial to the excellent gadgets/gunplay to the brilliant story - I loved every minute of it. It's cheesy to say, but I felt like a spy. I hope they get to make a sequel. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

I got super hyped at the final moment in 007 First Light, only to roll credits and have the “skip credits” simply hide the credits and leave me on a black screen while they roll, and I think that in itself describes my feelings about the game as a whole.

So with all the goodness of the new #NintendoSwitch2 firmware update, there is a specific caveat - if you were using your Joy-Con 2 controllers just fine with the Genki Delta Grip before, they're not gonna work after you update. Hoping for a fix to come out soon, but man, this really pissed me off.

like as an example "007 first light is extremely linear and gives waypoints", but everyones first impression of that before the game came out was "ooh hitman-lite as bond? cool" and i think the games is... fun! good variety, i like the characters, the levels, theres a lot of fun in *playing* it

After a lot of silence, #007FirstLight will no longer release this year for #Switch2, with the developers now aiming for a March 2027 release

007 First Light is a must-play for Hitman (modern trilogy) and Bond Movie enjoyers but if you grew up playing the FPS / TPS Bond games, then this may not be for you as its Hitman with a 007 coat of paint. Still a solid kickass game worth your time. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1142...
