Marine Le Pen warns NATO entry could spark World War III

newsSep 17, 202645284

Marine Le Pen warned that the Russia-Ukraine war is a "real slaughter" with about "2 million victims" and said the conflict has already lasted longer than the First World War. She told audiences that there are only two grim outcomes: either NATO steps in and that would trigger a third World War, or the fighting drags on into what she called a "Hundred Years' War." Le Pen said France should help create negotiation conditions and named Germany, Poland, and Türkiye as countries that should be around the peace table. She also confirmed she would stop France's financial support to Ukraine if elected while remaining open to providing defensive equipment and training. Her remarks reiterate a long-standing National Rally posture skeptical of continued monetary aid to Kyiv and emphasize a diplomatic rather than expansionary military approach to the conflict.

🇫🇷❗️🇺🇦Marine Le Pen on Russia’s war in Ukraine: Either NATO enters this war and it will be 3rd World War, or we will witness 100 Years’ War. This war has already lasted longer than First World War, and nobody is talking about it. There are 2 million victims. This is a real slaughter. It’s terrible.
