one more non-spoiler Resident Evil thought: Zach Cregger has really established himself as the best in the business at staging a scare. there are other horror directors I like more, and I often have qualms with the movies as a whole, but his scares are impeccable. no one could do better

Re was super fun. Way funnier then expected but also lots of creepy, mutations, etc. Also the chaos of the main character trying to survive was great. Simple story. Overall had a blast. Give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Wish there was more to tie into the games but still. It was highly enjoyable.
